Oceans of Emotions: water energy in your body

Puna Day Star: Hawaiian Coast, Oceans Of Emotions

You may have seen or considered seeing an acupuncturist in the past. I am not an acupuncturist but I have studied Chinese medicine to some depth.  Often we wonder where our emotions come from and how we can get more control over them.  Your emotions are a result of subtle energies within your body that can be observed by those around you quite powerfully.

In Chinese medicine, the kidney and bladder meridians are the channels where water energy in the body flows.  The kidney meridian is perhaps the most important meridian.  Meridians can be thought of as paths through which energy in the body flows.  This is a special kind of energy called chi and is not observable by the untrained eye.

I am certified by the International College of Applied Kinesiology and have trained with some of the most expert masters in applied kinesiology (AK).  In AK we consider the water energy to be very related to emotions.  The predominant emotion of these meridians is fear but any emotion is possible because fear and love are perhaps the most fundamental energies that exist on an emotional level.

When we think about water we may imagine a spring or glass of water.  Images of the ocean conjure up deep darkness of unknown and depths where any number of things could be lurking.  The profound nature of water is the unknown and this can be quite scary for some.  Accepting that there are many things hiding beneath the water is what allows people like surfers to paddle out into the waves and be fully focused on the task at hand – catching the wave.

Problems in the kidney meridian do not necessarily equate to problems in your kidneys.  Just because you have fear does not mean you need to see a urologist.  In fact, a urologist would probably think you were crazy if you asked if your fear may be related to a kidney problem.

I have muscle tested people and found dis-harmonies in the kidney meridian energy and without treatment a few days later they may complain of pain with urination.  Thus, we could have prevented that possibly by putting the whole picture together before any symptoms even arrived.

I have also found with muscle testing that some waters are better than others and some waters can be improved with the addition of certain elements.  This is not the type of muscle testing you may have seen on youtube.  To muscle test the kidney energy you use the psoas and this must be performed in by a highly trained and skilled individual.

In conclusion, the water energy in your body is closely related to your emotions and the water you drink can have a profound affect on your hydration and these energies.
